The Host Movie News’ winner for our Google Hangout Contest was Jordan. She and a guest were able to attend and be in the audience for the Live Google Hangout Chat with Stephenie Meyer and Jake Abel. Saoirse Ronan and Max Irons attended via their computers in Europe. Jordan was kind enough to send along her account of attending the event and the pictures she took. Thanks, Jordan!
“First and foremost, thank you so much for the opportunity to go to the Google Hangout. I wanted to let you know that it was awesome! The group was really small and exclusive; in the audience, there were only about fifteen people, plus some Google employees. Other than myself and my friend, most of the other attendees were either representing fansites or had won a similar contest on a website. I did recognize Kimmy from HisGoldenEyes.com, PagetoPremiere.com, and MockingJay.net. It was really cool to see Stephenie Meyer and Jake Abel in person, as well as Max Irons and Saoirse Ronan. As you could see from the broadcast, the cast members had a lot of fun recalling memories from the set and teasing each other about things. After the broadcast, we had a few minutes to take pictures and get autographs before Jake and Stephenie were whisked away to more events. I was a total, nervous fan-girl around them, but my friend pushed me into pictures so I would have proof of seeing them. I’m so glad I had the opportunity to go and I am even more excited to see The Host when it comes out!”
