TwilightMoms and TwilighterAnonymous got an interview with Stephenie Meyer on the red carpet of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse premiere. They had the brilliant idea of asking her about The Host movie instead of another Twilight question. This interview, of course, is over a month old now. Casting has not yet begun, but the script is complete. She still wants to write a sequel and knows what will happen in the book. They (Stephenie and Andrew Niccol) have to find the time to make the production feasible for both of them.
